Yums! I turned into a total crepe-fanatic while in Greece last year. I even had a crepe routine… which consisted of stopping in at a cafe every afternoon for a cappuccino or coffee freddo and a banana and Nutella crepe. And you wondered why I was so crazy about the 30 day shred after my return ;)

Although there are probably a lot of great crepe recipes out there, I really loved the simplicity of this one. After putting all the ingredients in the blender, you just put it in the fridge overnight — and voilà it’s ready in the morning… other than the “making them perfectly thin” part. Next time, I think I’ll try savory crepes.

I got a crepe and coffee. Then we walked through the huge market area that we pretty much missed yesterday, and then did a tiny bit of shopping. I finally found some sunglasses and also bought a beach mat for 2.50. Then we headed to the beach. The beach was really rocky, but smooth rocks so it was just fine with a beach mat. I only got in the water once, and just laid out the rest of the time doing my sudoku puzzle, lol. So Hannah, Jennette and I were all laying around doing puzzles, and now we’re all sunburned. ;) So after several hours at the beach we grabbed some lunch (yay panini) and walked to the train station.

By the time we got back to Marseille everyone had already left to watch the game at the port. So we were a little late. The game was rather sad. Of course we wanted France to win! After the game it didn’t get crazy like last time, but the police were out in full force just in case.

I wasn’t really interested in seeing it, but it ended up being worth it. I took tons of pictures and we even found the pope’s ghost inside (a cat lives there, lol). So then we stopped back at the hotel to check out and then stopped at H&M and I found an awesome skirt and halter top, but the line was so long that we ended up just leaving and racing over to the bus station so we didn’t miss like 1 of the only buses running to Pont du Gard that day! The bus is way better than the regional train… no more regional trains for me, only TGV! So Pont du Gard was awesome, I just wish I had taken my swimsuit, as swimming in a skirt is kind of hard! I went wading though, lol. So then we caught the next bus to Arles. Arles looks like it should be in Spain instead. The town seemed very Spanish to me. After checking in we went to dinner at this little restaurant on the corner. I had bruschetta and my new favorite drink (has mint syrup). We were going to go out and watch the World Cup (France vs. Brazil), but we were all really tired, so we watched it in the hotel and then fell asleep. Oh well, since they won there’s always the next game. Everyone was setting off fire crackers and horns after the goal, lol.
