#63: Make crème brulèe

What do you do during the day if you’re unemployed and homeless? Make coffee creme brulee, is what you do! I tried the Martha Stewart Coffee Creme Brulee recipe and other than the run-on sentence that I skipped, it was a simple recipe. If you understand the following sentence, please let me know (oh and at this point in the recipe you’ve already discarded the coffee beans.) :

“Pour steeping the coffee beans whisking the custard adding the layer of sugar through a cheesecloth-lined sieve into a large glass measuring cup or pitcher.”

Anyway, the crème brûlée was good, but it would have been fun to use a torch to caramelize the top instead of the broiler.
