Portland Beer Festivals by Month: 43 Can’t-Miss 2026 Events

Portland is home to amazing breweries and quite a few annual beer festivals. While summer is prime beer festival season, you can find a beer festival almost any month in Portland, Oregon! Here’s the full list of Portland beer festivals and a few other notable Oregon beer festivals, by month.

2026 Beer Festivals in Portland, Oregon by Month

The following list includes current Portland beer festivals and a few notable beer fests that haven’t happened in a while. But I felt were special enough events that they are worth including in hopes they return someday!

January Beer Festivals

St John’s Winter Beer Fest – January 23-24, 2026. Celebrate winter beers in St Johns at Stormbreaker. Get 8 drink tickets and a 5oz taster glass for $25. Beers from PNW breweries like Threshold, Ecliptic, Ex Novo, Ruse, Pono, Living Haus, and more.

Tualatin Winter Brew Fest – January 31, 2026. At Stickmen Brewing in Tualatin, this winter beer festival is also a fundraiser, featuring 20+ local craft breweries.

NW Coffee Beer Invitational Last event January 2020. This event is a celebration of coffee beers, hosted at the Goose Hollow Inn.

February Beer Festivals (Oregon Craft Beer Month!)

Oregon Craft Beer Month – February is Oregon Craft Beer Month. Hosted by the Oregon Brewers Guild, you’ll find special events, beer releases, and more. It’s in February due to this being a low month for Oregon breweries and tourism. Celebrate with Zwickelmania and other events.

Zwickelmania – February 21, 2026. Now a Statewide event all on one Saturday. This annual brewery festival is all about the breweries – with tours and free samples and is a really fun winter activity.

Hillsdale Brewfest – February 21, 2026. This annual event by McMenamin’s Hillsdale Brewery & Public House is in its 33rd year. And celebrates all the different McMenamin’s breweries contributions.

Triple IPA Fest – February 21, 2026. Previously a Double IPA Fest, the last event was July 16-17, 2023. Saraveza is a North Portland bar and bottle shop that is also known for hosting small beer festivals (Summer Strawberry Beer Festival, Farmhouse & Wild Ale Festival, Peche Fest, and more)

Hillsbrew Festival – TBD 2026. Last event in 2023 in Washington county at Wingspan Convention Center.

Central Oregon Winter Beer Fest TBD 2026. No event 2025. Canceled 2023. Hopefully this one returns in 2026! For those looking to head to the Bend area, you can opt for Suttle Lodge’s Winter Beer Fest in February.

March Beer Festivals

SheBrew Festival – March 7, 2026. This annual event focuses on womxn in the craft beer, cider and mead world with a nationwide brewers competition and festival here in Portland.

Stormbreaker’s Brewstillery FestivalTBD 2026. Last event was March 11, 2023. After a 2 year hiatus, Stormbreaker is back with their Brewstillery Fest in North Portland. This festival brings together local breweries and distilleries at Stormbreaker on N. Mississippi. Think of it as the ultimate beer back festival with 4oz beer and 1/4oz spirit combos. But you’ll find more than just whiskey. Featuring other spirits like gin, vodka, rum, and more.

April Beer Festivals

Baker’s Dozen Coffee, Beer, Doughnut Festival – TBD 2026. April 19, 2025. This event melds three things Portland does best: coffee, beer, and doughnuts. Admission includes all 13 coffee beers, morsels of all 13 doughnuts, and a souvenir glass.

Salmon-Safe IPA FestivalTBD 2026. Last event April 22, 2023. Hosted by Hopworks to celebrate Earth Day with Oregon Wild. This beer fest features 20+ breweries, featuring beer brewed with salmon-safe hops.

May Beer Festivals

Nano Beer Fest – TBD 2026. Last event May 3-5, 2024. This bi-annual event at John’s Marketplace features small batch beers, ciders and mead made by inventive and new members of the local craft industry.

Hood River Cider FestTBD 2026. May 4, 2025. While not a beer festival, this cider fest in Hood River is worth mentioning that features Washington and Oregon cider makers.

Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale FestivalTBD 2026. May 26-27, 2024. Previously hosted in 2019, this spring event was last at Von Ebert Glendoveer, and celebrates American Farmhouse and Wild/mixed fermentation ales.

Sip of SpringTBD 2026. Last event May 20, 2023. This “fest on a farm” at Rossi Farms in NE Portland celebrates spring beers and ciders. $30 for a tasting glass and 10 tickets. 21+ event, no minors (including infants).

June Beer Festivals

Portland Beer Week – TBD 2026. June 13-22, 2025. PDX Beer Week, is full of fun beer events, collaborations and tap takeovers and releases, popups and more. And it’s not just for industry people, but fun for more casual beer drinkers and locals too.

Edgefield Brew FestTBD 2026. June 21, 2025. The annual Edgefield brew fest will feature 100 beers and ciders from Oregon and Washington’s best! Held on the lawn at Edgefield (the concerts area), this fest is a chill time. Family and dog-friendly.

Cider SummitTBD 2026. Last event June 23-24, 2023. After a two year break, Portland Cider Summit is back. Previously at the Fields Park in NW Portland, this year it will be at The Redd on Salmon Street (outdoors).

Portland Craft Beer Festival – TBD 2026. July 4-6, 2025. This event is at South Waterfront’s Elizabeth Caruthers Park again for 2024. This annual beer festival celebrates all Portland beer brewed within the Portland city limits! And with a backdrop of The Fields Park in NW Portland, it makes for a fun atmosphere and great views.

Portland International Beer FestivalTBD 2026. The Portland International Beer Festival was a summer beer fest in the North Park Blocks in downtown Portland. With over 200 beers, and free entry (tickets for beer drinkers), and food carts, this smaller beer fest is a fun June event.

Spile & Spigot Cask Beer FestTBD 2026. June 14, 2025. Steeplejack & Portland Beer Week created this beer fest to celebrate 15 west coast breweries brewing traditional British style cask beer.

Portland Fruit Beer Festival – RIP. This annual event was all about craft fruit beers, hosted at the old Burnside Brewing location and Saraveza other years.

Organic Beer Fest – RIP Last event June 2017. Not too long ago, the Organic Beer Festival was an annual event in Overlook Park. This event was one of my favorite Portland beer fests. Low key, buy as you go, share a tasting, family friendly. Hopefully it will return someday!

Portland Beer & Cheese FestTBD 2026. Last event June 23, 2024. With the last event being in 2019, welcome back Beer and Cheese Fest! This fest was always the Saturday before Father’s Day. Portland Beer & Cheese Festival is 10 beer and cheese pairings by Portland’s infamous cheesemonger, Steve Jones from Cheese Bar. Here’s my review from 2012.

July Beer Festivals

Oregon Trail BrewfestTBD 2026. Last event July 20, 2024. Drink beer at the end of the Oregon Trail! This all ages beer fest is in Oregon City. What’s the catch? It celebrates the best in craft beer brewed along the Oregon Trail – from Independence, Missouri to Oregon City, Oregon.

PuckerfestTBD 2026. July 25-28, 2025. Another smaller festival hosted by Belmont Station. This festival celebrates all things sour and wild! After a few years off, Belmont Station in SE has brought back their 5 day sour beer mini festival! Each day will have a slightly different theme.

Fuji to Hood Brewfest – July 18, 2026. This event brings Japan to Portland. Alternating years in Tokyo and Portland. Last year 22 breweries and 3 cideries traveled to Portland. A festival of food and drinks, craft and performance.

Oregon Brewers Festival – RIP. Last canceled in 2023. The Oregon Brewers Festival is one of the bigger summer Portland brew fests. If you’re visiting or love trying different beers, it’s a good time to check out tons of different NW beers. It definitely has that big festival vibe though, so if big crowds aren’t your thing, just hit up a favorite Portland brewery with an outdoor patio if you’re looking for a more low-key time.

August Beer Festivals

Kölsch FestTBD 2026. August 22-24, 2025. Mayfly Taproom & Bottle Shop in Kenton presents their annual Kolsch Fest – 12 beers, blind tasting, and bracket style voting.

Viking Beer FestTBD 2026. Although they labeled last years event as THE LAST Viking Beer Fest. August 22-23, 2025. Hosted at Nordic Northwest, this event was part beer fest part viking heritage and Nordic traditions.

Vancouver Summer Brewfest – RIP. Last event August 12-13, 2022. The Washington Beer commission is now running this Vancouver, Washington weekend beer fest. A great event to sample over 40 Washington breweries right here in the Portland metro area.

Boring Beer Fest 2022 – RIP. Last event August 19-21, 2022. This beer fest in Boring, Oregon has been running for three years. Hosted at Liepold Farms and featuring 20 local breweries.

September Beer Festivals

Oktoberfest in Mt Angel – September 17-20, 2026. Mt Angel’s Oktoberfest is a celebration of Bavarian culture including biergarten and hopfengarten.

Oaks Park Oktoberfest – September 25-27, 2026. This annual event in Oaks Park near Sellwood is full of German fun!

Rose City Fresh Hop FestivalTBD 2026. September 27 -28, 2025. This event is hosted at The Redd, featuring Oregon-wide fresh hop beers.

PDX Fresh Hops Fest TBD 2026. Last event 2023. The weekend after Oktoberfest used to be a fresh hop fest at Oaks Park, RIP to the original Fresh Hop Fest!

Portland Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Fest – TBD 2026. September 19 – October 5, 2025. This now annual Fresh Hop Fest is a pop-up at the Prost! Marketplace on N. Mississippi again. Every day featured new rotating taps from area breweries. Super convenient to swing by and try fresh hop beer that would otherwise be a bit harder to get to (Bend breweries, Gorge area, Astoria, Washington breweries etc.).

Prost! Portland OktoberfestTBD 2026. September 19-21, 2025. While you’ll find some kind of “Oktoberfest” event at countless Portland breweries, you simply can’t beat Prost & Stammtisch’s Oktoberfest street party celebrations.

Beaverton LagerfestTBD 2026. September 6, 2025. In October 22, the Beaverton Downtown Assoc created their first annual “Brewverton” Beer Festival. With so many new breweries opening in Beaverton it was great to see! Renamed the Beaverton Lagerfest, the event is now in Septemberr and they close down a couple blocks as pedestrian-only.

October Beer Festivals

Bend Brew Fest – RIP. October 3-5, 2024. Yes, this list is mostly Portland beer festivals, but Bend Brew Fest is also a popular one to plan a Bend trip around! Usually hosted at the Amphitheater, last year it was across the river at the Old Mill District. And for 2023 they canceled the event until it could return to the amphitheater venue. Bend Beer Week or Central Oregon Craft Beer Week is another Oregon Brewer’s Guild event to celebrate Bend Oregon breweries.

Hood River Orchard & Ale Fest (previously called Hood River Hops Fest) – TBD 2026. October 4, 2025. This annual festival in downtown Hood River, is all about fresh hops! It’s a fun weekend to spend in Hood River.

Peche FestRIP. Everything peach! From peach beers and ciders to food. This is another smaller festival from the folks at Portland Fruit Beer Festival. Last festival was October 2019.

November Beer Festivals

Brewlights at ZooLights – November 14-15, 2025. This adults only evening of BrewLights is, you guessed it, beer and ZooLights, one of Portland’s favorite Christmas events.

December Beer Festivals

Portland Holiday Brew Fest – December 5-6, 2025. There’s a new Holiday Ale Fest in town! Same location as the Holiday Ale Fest at Pioneer Courthouse Square under the giant tree and heated tents. New event organizers, and just 2 days. This event features 25 winter beers. It’s nice to see a Portland tradition being reimagined!

Holiday Ale Fest – RIP. This event last occurred in 2019. The weekend following Thanksgiving weekend is the Portland Holiday Ale Fest. It’s pretty cool to drink seasonal beers under the giant Christmas tree at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
