1. Portland Nursery – Stark & Division

Portland Nursery is still hands-down my favorite garden center. Maybe it’s part nostalgia, but I love my annual tradition of spring garden planning and picking out my garden supplies of plant starts and seeds. Portland nursery even offered curbside pickup during much of the pandemic. And they have a great drive-thru portion to pick up potting soil. Portland Nursery has a huge selection of native plants, shrubs, and trees and knowledgable staff. This isn’t your Home Depot garden center selection! And they even offer garden design services. Portland Nursery is also where you will find the official rose for Portland’s annual rose festival! Portland is famous for our rose gardens, and what better place for roses than Portland Nursery.
